Precautions & Contraindications

Any patients with existing medical conditions should get approval from their doctor before they commence any weight loss program.

We recommend that caution be taken with patients who are on regular medications, including warfarin, and note that they should be monitored more closely during this period of weight loss as dosages may need to be adjusted.

KicStart™ is not recommended for patients that are pregnant or breastfeeding.

KicStart™ is formulated using adult RDI’s (Recommended Daily Intakes) and the Portion Controlled Eating plan is based on adult daily intakes, therefore it is recommended that people under the age of 18 consult their GP first to determine if a Healthy Weight for Life program is suitable for them.
