KicStart™ - serving suggestions and tips


Shakes

Mixing a shake

  • first add at least 200 ml of cold water (more water or ice can be added if desired) to a blender or a large shaker
  • add the sachet of KicStart™ powder to the water
  • shake vigorously - after shaking the consistency of the shake should be smooth and slightly frothy
  • pour the shake into a large glass and drink within a few minutes.

Soups

Mixing a soup

  • first add at least 200 ml of cold tap water (more water can be added if desired) to a blender or a large shaker (DO NOT ADD HOT WATER TO THE SHAKER)
  • add the sachet of KicStart™ powder to the water.
  • shake vigorously - after shaking the consistency of the shake should be smooth and slighty frothy
  • pour in to a large bowl then heat it to the desired temperature in a microwave.

Soup serving suggestions

To satisfy any taste and to keep things interesting, use a KicStart™ Soup as a base and try adding some of the following:

>>> Free Food vegetables

>>> Fresh herbs and pepper to taste

>>> Curry powder to taste

>>> Chilli paste, powder or flakes

 

You might also be interested in the below serving suggestions, which can be made using your prepared KicStart™ soups.

Ratatouille: (This works best with the Italian Syle Tomato but equally might work with the Pumpkin and Herb Soup)
Lightly sauté onion and garlic in a saucepan with a light spray of olive oil. Add diced eggplant, capsicum, zucchini, button squash and mushrooms with a small tin of peeled tomatoes. Simmer gently until the vegetables are cooked through. You can also add a sprinkling of capers to taste.

Mexican: (This works with either the Italian Syle Tomato and also the Pumpkin and Herb Soup.)
Add homemade or store bought salsa to taste, including a splash of Tabasco if you wish.

Vegetable Soup: Add chopped, steamed vegetables such as carrots, beans, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, pumpkin. Fresh or frozen vegetables may be used.

Crunchy Chinese: (This works with both the Chicken and Beef soups.)
Add small tin of drained water chestnuts and bean sprouts,  you may also like to include chopped chinese greens (eg Bok Choy).

Moroccan: (This works with either the Italian Syle Tomato and also the Pumpkin and Herb Soup.)
Stir through some chopped wilted spinach and steamed pumpkin with added spices such as cumin, coriander, cardamom to taste.
